About Us - The Vision

FarmJam™ Music and Camping Festival is INDIE in a major way.  To serve our bands, our vision is simple.  We provide a highly visible and professional platform for quality original music and independent bands to be seen and heard.  What sprung from that foundation about us is the Pacific Northwest’s premier independent music festival that spotlights indie music in a major way, and connects music lovers with bands, farmers, ranchers,  and the local community. 

Our Approach

FarmJam™ Music and Camping Festival is INDIE in a major way.  Thus, our mission is to support independent musicians who forge their own original path.  Then, we provide a quality experience for all attendees. 

In short, we connect indie bands to new fans.  This environment lets us bridge with the local community to promote agriculture and local food.  To help others, we also support local rural nonprofits that work endlessly to better the lives of those who need a helping hand.  Proceeds benefit these causes.  We will announce the charities in the near future.

ABOUT THE PRODUCERS

A third generation, music loving farmer and midwestern entertainment producer founded FarmJam™.  The two producers quickly brought on a team of professionals and volunteers to bring the vision to life.  FarmJam™ producers embrace a team approach to volunteerism, creativity, innovation, and promoting the FREE spirit of marching to your own drum.

Meet the Team

We bring consumers to the farm where they can engage the entertainers who make our music and the farmers who grow our food. We encourage entertainers, who refuse to be ruled by the unreasonableness of corporations or other external influences, to continue their independent path of making amazing original music.

Greg Knight

Logistics and Operations

Greg loves to farm with his wife and kids on the same ninety acres where his grandparents and parents raised alfalfa, wheat, oats, barley, pumpkins and corn.  His diverse background includes two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa, a career in private industry, and the Executive Director of a non-profit.  However, original music and farming are his passion.  Greg believes it’s important to bring consumers to the farmer and does so with a successful fall Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. FarmJam™ Music & Camping Festival is an extension of that passion.

Music & Entertainment

Trevor Lane (featured to the right of Will Porter) has more than a decade of experience producing music and festivals.  He has experience in major studios.  Trevor began national concert promotions in 2004, while working with touring bands and major international acts.  With more than ten independent records published, Trevor is known to help bands take their careers to the next level.  He is the founder  and former executive producer of Backwoods Music & Camping Festival, a rapidly growing event in middle America, hosted at Mulberry Mountain.  He also has significant experience in education, agriculture, and economic development.

Zara Knight

Media and Public Relations

Zara has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development.  She started her career in early childhood education before managing senior services for a non profit organization. In addition to directing FarmJam’s public and media relations network, she works to protect vulnerable adults from abuse, neglect and exploitation.  In her spare time Zara loves exploring Eastern Washington with her husband and three kids.

Levi Parker has been in the production industry for over 20 years, starting at a very young age following his Dad when they would rent their small PA. Professionally, Levi has 13 years as a technician in the AVL scene and in stage management. In 2015, Levi decided to take his experience and turn it into a service by offering production management consultation for festivals and one-off concerts. Levi’s goal is to help clients navigate the daunting task of bringing multiple vendors and an immense amount of equipment to bare so clients can pull of a truly stunning production.  In his spare time, Levi enjoys coaching his daughter in softball, playing video games with is son, and being with his wife.
