Fullbright’s skill and talent propelled him to nomination for Best Americana Album at the GRAMMY Awards placing Fullbright alongside the genre’s most iconic figures including Bonnie Raitt. “A quiet collection of stately ballads and ruminative torch songs… a moving display of deeply personal songwriting…” —Rolling Stone
“Mr. Fullbright joins the lineage of terse Southwestern songwriters like Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, sticking to a few folky chords and reaching for unassailable clarity.” —The New York Times
According to The LA Times Fullbright’s music has been acclaimed as “preternaturally self-assured,” while NPR hailed Fullbright as one of the 10 Artists You Should Have Known, saying “it’s not every day a new artist…earns comparisons to great songwriters like Townes Van Zandt and Randy Newman, but Fullbright’s music makes sense in such lofty company.”
With more music to announce, the current lineup has Chase Rice to headline FarmJam and the festival will host The Wild Feathers, Red Dirt Rangers, John Fullbright, Blackfoot Gypsies, Casey Ryan, Devon Wade, Whitney Rose, Will Porter, Bryant Lamar, The Stylees, The Last Chance Band, and international talent, Blake Noble.
