The FarmJam lineup is filling up fast with an all-star roster of talent. Emily Ann Roberts will join the FarmJam Music & Camping lineup. Emily was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice, as a member of team Blake Shelton, and she became a finalist on season nine. Songs she performed on the show have charted on the Billboard magazine charts, where three songs were on the Hot Country Songs and one placed on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
Emily’s first steady gig was at a Mexican restaurant in Knoxville called “El Charro’s”. After playing there for a year, she started playing at restaurants all over Knoxville and singing in any and every competition she could find.
Emily started writing songs in the 8th grade and songwriting became a passion. She discovered music was more than a hobby. Emily said, “I didn’t realize it then but every single gig, small town competition, and every night of pouring myself into my music was preparing me for the biggest opportunity of my life.”
