Fleur and Wesley Wood made their mark on the live music scene in 2014, and played more than 100 live shows per year. Based in Washington State, touring has taken them throughout the West. They’ve also played internationally in Canada and New Zealand.
The debut album was released, at the Sunset in Seattle on April 29th 2016. The first single ‘Canyon Wind,’ was received well across radio, reaching as high as #6 on WPHS Michigan. It’s been picked up by many indie stations across the US for medium rotation and has been given good reviews on local media.
According to the Northwest Music Scene, “The W Lovers really capture a classic sound with their album. It’s good, but I feel there’s something missing. In a lot of that old classic country there’s at least one song that defines heartbreak and loss, and that song doesn’t live on this album. There’s a bit of rebellion, there’s the simple life and a whole lot of love, but not much heartbreak. We should all desire to have a life as full of love as The W Lovers.
